Every Wednesday from 7 – 8 PM.
$5 per dog/handler for GFKC and SKC members and $10 for non-members per night.
Come learn how to handle your dog in the show ring. Tips on presentation, stacking, gaiting, and ring etiquette.
Work on a table or ramp if required for your breed.
Open to everyone - beginners and experienced handlers looking to run their dogs through the judging experience.
Bring a show lead and some treats for your dog. If you aren’t sure what a show lead is, we can assist you.
Classes are taught by a rotation of Glens Falls Kennel Club and Saratoga Kennel Club members who have experience showing their own dogs.
Occasionally we offer a special 6-week version of this class taught by a professional handler.
Please check website for notice of class cancellation – for example, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and other holidays.
