Introduction to Scent Work

Learning the game: Container searches, begin Interiors.

Equipment Needed:

- Lots of high value treats with a strong odor (like cheese) sealed in a bag or jar

- Dogs should be on a flat collar or harness - no prong or e-collars or head halters

- Six foot leash -  not retractable

Scent Work 1 (Intro/Novice)

Focus on Interior searches and begin Exteriors, Buried.

Wednesday, 1:30 - 2:45 PM

     Class will be held on 1/24, 2/7, 2/28, 3/7, 3/21 and 4/4. Classes on 3/21 and 4/4 will be 2:30 - 4:45 PM.

Scent Work 2 (Intermediate)

Scent teams work with two hides, birch and anise.

     No class on 5/9, 5/30, 6/6, 6/20.
