Scent Work

Scent 1: The Nose Knows - Introduction to Scent Work (NEW CLASS)

The nose knows! Scentwork is a fun sport for all types of dogs. This class will help you teach your dog to use natural instincts to locate a specific odor. You will gain an understanding of scent detection, develop handling and observational skills, practice searching for a specific odor, and learn about the use of equipment and the handling of odors. Scentwork builds confidence and works your dog's mind,

Equipment Needed:

- Lots of high value treats with a strong odor (like cheese) sealed in a bag or jar

- Six foot leash -  not retractable

 Class meets Saturdays, 3:45 - 4:45 PM
