Scent Work Instructor

My Dachshunds (Team Little Dog) and I fell in love with scent sport four years ago. We are competitive, and they are heavily titled, but in their free time they still want to play scent games! I believe scent work truly is for all dogs. This sport keeps my 18-year old active and engaged; my rescue gains much needed confidence every time he finds source; and my intense girl is competing nationally. Dogs rely on their noses to understand the world, and scent work challenges them in this way. I am an English instructor and recipient of the prestigious NY State Chancellor's Award recognizing my "exemplary teaching and quality of instruction." I love providing dogs with opportunities to use their minds and facilitating effective communication strategies for dog-handler scent teams.
